Hair Loss Treatment in Dubai: Causes, PRP, and Available Options
Thinning hair has more than one cause. At Kayla Medical Center in Al Warqa 1 we look at the scalp before we book PRP or any other hair treatment.
Hair on the pillow, a wider parting, or a scalp that shows more than it used to is unsettling. It is common, and it is not one condition. A search for hair loss treatment in Dubai puts PRP next to many other names. Those names do not stand in for each other. At Kayla Medical Center in Al Warqa 1 we start by looking at the scalp and hearing what happened, not by booking a session off a list.
The clinic is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority, and you can speak Arabic or English. We do not promise that PRP, or any other option we name, will bring density back for every person.
Why the hair looks thinner
Slow thinning at the temples or the crown, over years, is a pattern we see often. Shedding can also rise after illness, a high fever, childbirth, or a hard stretch of stress, sometimes months later. Tight styles and repeated pulling can thin the hairline. An inflamed scalp can shed while the skin itself is the problem. An illness, a thyroid change, or a medicine can sit behind it too. We ask about these. You cannot diagnose yourself from the list.
The cause chooses the treatment
PRP hair puts a platelet-rich part of your own blood back into the scalp. That can suit some kinds of thinning. It does not suit shedding that needs a doctor first, or an inflamed scalp we have not looked at. Mesotherapy, growth factors, and the other treatments here each have their own place. Booking the best-known name does not tell us the cause.
What happens when we look at the scalp
You sit down and say when the change started, whether the hair is shedding, thinning, or both, and what came before it: illness, pregnancy, a medicine, or a tight style. We look at the temples, the crown, any patches, and the hairline. Then we agree the next step: a treatment here, waiting, or a medical check before any injection.
What we mean by PRP hair
We take a sample of your blood, separate the platelet-rich layer, and inject it into the scalp. The session is not an operation, and the blood is yours, not a donated product. At Kayla Medical Center this treatment is PRP Hair. Maxxi PRP is a more concentrated form of the same preparation, and we explain the difference before you choose.
What to expect from PRP, and what not to
Many people book PRP hoping the hair will look thicker. Some notice quieter shedding or a change in how the scalp feels. Some notice nothing. It depends on why the hair changed, how long that has been going on, and whether PRP was the right treatment. PRP does not replace a diagnosis, and it does not grow a full head of hair on a scalp that has been bare for years. Injections in the scalp can be uncomfortable, and irritation is possible with any injection, so we look at the scalp first and ask about bleeding problems and medicines.
The hair treatments we offer
We do not offer every hair treatment advertised in Dubai. These are the treatments at Kayla Medical Center. We compare them in the consultation, after we have seen the scalp.
- PRP Hair: a platelet-rich part of your blood, injected into the scalp.
- Maxxi PRP: the same preparation at a higher concentration, also injected into the scalp.
- GFC: growth factors taken from a blood sample and injected into the scalp. This is not the ordinary PRP preparation.
- Hair mesotherapy: vitamins and nutrients injected into the scalp to feed the follicles. It supports a plan. It does not find the cause on its own.
- Regenera: we take a small skin sample, prepare cells from it, and return them to the scalp.
- Medigraft: a scalp session for hair that is already light. We explain how it differs from PRP before you choose.
- Exosomes hair: injected into the thinning areas. In the consultation we say how this differs from PRP, and whether your pattern is a reason to consider it.
What sets the plan, the fee, and the visits
The cause, the area, and how long the hair has been changing decide whether a treatment suits you, which name we discuss, and how many visits are worth planning. We do not write a session count before we see the scalp, because that number would be a guess. The fee depends on the treatment and on the plan we agree with you. Ask for the figure in the consultation. Do not measure your visit by another clinic's price.
When we look before any booking
If the loss started suddenly, in patches, with no reason you can name, or with pain, a rash, or a change in your health, come in before you book PRP. We do not start injections the same day in that case. Slow widening at the temples still begins with the same consultation. The difference is how soon you need to be seen, not a different kind of visit.
Questions we hear often
It does not. It is one option, and only after we have looked at the cause and the scalp. Some causes need another plan, or a doctor before any session.
PRP injects a platelet-rich part of your own blood. Hair mesotherapy injects vitamins and nutrients. They are different sessions.
The number comes after we see the scalp. A count given before that is not a plan.
Come for a look first. Sudden loss, loss in patches, or loss you cannot explain needs to be seen before a session is booked.
The PRP Hair page is where you see the treatment itself. The look at your scalp still happens in the consultation. HydraFacial is a question about skin, not about hair.
